I'm Josephine Rose Francis

But you can call me Josie. I am a content creator, photographer, stylist and rug maker from Milwaukee, Wisconsin currently living in Los Angeles, CA where I share my space with my bunny Phoebe and my 30+ house plant babies. Life is good and I love sharing it with you all.

I have always loved fashion, bright colors, and the way an outfit can make me feel. Let's rewind a bit- I attended a private school for the first 17 years of my life with a fairly strict dress code (not quite a uniform) and that is kind of where it all began. I didn't want to look like everyone else and if I was dressed similarly, it bummed me out (it still does). This sounds stupid now, but I used to hate going to the mall to shop with my friends because I never wanted them to buy the same things as me. My mom always said "imitation is the biggest form of fIattery" but I didn't really understand it at the time. So I started going to thrift stores where everything is one of a kind and I quickly I fell in love with thrifting and styling unique pieces. I slowly learned how to work within my schools' dress code to build outfits that I loved and looks that were different. Ever since then, getting dressed is one of my favorite parts of the day.

I'm still not sure how to best describe my style but my look always reflects my mood which ranges from flower child to skater tom-boy and everything in between. Most of my outfits highlight bright colors and a vintage piece or two. I love monochromatic looks and you'll never catch me in leggings unless I am working out.

In the past few months, I have worked with a range of brands on content creation projects and shoots including Urban Outfitters, Who What Wear, Rothy's, Everlane & All Birds (just to name a few). If you are a brand that's interesting in collaborating, let's chat! And if you're a reader, let's connect! Thanks for being here.

Xx, Josie
